Opened in June 2007, the Pavillion used to be a very run down pub called the King & Castle, which had been closed and empty for some time. Azadur Rahman and Stephen Bridgman invested heavily in a total restoration and refurbishment to the premises to turn this tatty old pub into one of the finest Indian restaurants in the Cotswolds. In support of the local environment, only local tradesmen and suppliers were used.
The restaurant seats 90 and incorporates a stunning conservatory dining area with fantastic views across the Golden Valley. Alfresco dining during the summer months is also available and the restaurant boasts private and secure (CCTV) parking for up to 40 cars.
The interior is very contemporary, with wooden floors, mood lighting and jazz/blues music. Clients are actively encouraged to visit the kitchens should they wish to do so. |
